Endless Blue

Blue and Endless

Simple reminder,

You're alive, you're okay

Breeze being expressive

While      e x p a n d I N G     my lungs

With every breath

fluent,

DEEP.

Feeling of free,

…for that moment

I finally gained control.

Yet, it never begins as wrinkle-free…

The sound below  the padding,

Sometimes not enough to relief the ache

Tells me to reassess, that I started ambitiously

My vessel starts with a no,

My brain tells it yes,

Hush, the finish will fill your cup

The rush will keep you moving

The chemicals are worth the pain.

Long strides, short strides, long strides, no strides

Some equaling freedom, some equaling weight

Next mental challenge >

Air expanding my lungs

In an unorganized frequency

The thoughts wont let it settle into a natural rhythm

“Slow it down, don’t think about it, deeper”

The feeling of suffocation, until that next deep gasp

I hit a peak and it all makes sense,

Only you exist in this moment, solidarity with that sight

Caressed by wind, touched by rain, or perhaps glowed by sun

They all come with their pros and cons.

The visuals continue to demand attention

I entertain the passing conversations I am not fluent in

I enjoy this, I really really do; the lack of a cognitively complex company.

They seem simple, with purpose, non-destructive…

…similar to this moment,

One direction, to finish strong, to self-improve

The rarity in this to come to full control

An event I only hope to visit with more frequency

But here I am, holding power over my body

The moment that fades

I have surpassed my limits

I am numb.
